Optical Explorations: A Workshop for both Film and Digital Photographers
Every photograph is an exploration of light and time. We’ll explore these two elements and how they come together to make a photograph while using of a wide variety of adapted and self-made optical devices custom made for your camera –both film and digital photographers welcome! We’ll spend parts of each day in the classroom/workshop, the darkroom (or lightroom) and plenty of time in the field making pictures. We’ll experiment with lensless photography, as well as self-made lenses and adapted optics. We’ll spend time discussing what you want to achieve in your work and how to get there by building the equipment that suits your vision.
